Rest in Peace Dan. Yesterday, the motorsport world lost a great driver and friend. Dan Wheldon (33) was killed in a horrible crash yesterday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This was the final race of the 2011 IZOD IndyCar World Championship season. Dan’s resume includes the 2005 Indy Racing League IndyCar Series champion, and winner of the Indianapolis 500 in 2005 and 2011.
