Ducati 1199 Panigale’s Power & Weight Figures Leaked

Hi guys, according to a leak earlier this week, the new Ducati 1199 Pangiale superbike boasts 195bhp and 176kg weight in road trim. And that’s wet.

These are staggering figures from a 1200cc twin and go a long way toward justifying Ducati’s ditching of traditional belts on the engine and steel trellis on the chassis.

The all-new engine features the most radically oversquare engine yet (the KTM RC8-R: 105mm, Ducati’s Panigale: 112mm), gear/chain-driven cams, and the chassis is an aluminum front monocoque.
