Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition

Hey guys, Jon here. This is for all you car guys out there. Ever want an AMG tuned motorcycle? Well now, the first Ducati motorcycle to be born from the link-up between the Italian bike firm and performance car manufacturer AMG is this Diavel to be launched at the Frankfurt car show this week.

The two companies linked up last year with sponsorship of the MotoGP team of Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden being the first part of the deal with various advertising ventures put together after that. The Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition is the first of what is thought to be a series of new bikes coming; all of which will be at the top end of whatever range they will feature in.

Based upon the range-topping Diavel Carbon, the Diavel AMG SE features AMG's signature 5-spoke wheel styling, carbon fiber lateral radiator grills with aluminum trim, a new AMG-style sport exhaust system with engraved end-caps and AMG-style horizontally ribbed seat upholstery.

Ducati says: “The Diavel AMG SE now represents the first “co-inspired” model, elegantly combining distinctive styling features from both famous marques.

The model's incredible attention to performance detail also ensures that every engine has its Desmodromic cam-timing set by hand and authenticated with the name of the engine technician engraved on the left-side engine casing. Further underlining the model's exclusivity, each motorcycle will have a numbered plaque on the fuel tank.”
