Audi Urban Concept

Video after the jump!

How will we drive tomorrow? Audi is once again opening up new horizons: the Audi urban concept is a 1+1-seat, ultra-light car for congested urban spaces. The technical study does not fit under any of the conventional categories – the Audi urban concept combines elements of a racing car, a fun car and an urban car into one radical new concept.

With the Frankfurt Auto Show weeks away, Volkswagen and others are starting leak our information on what will be showing and or debuting. It was two years ago that Volkswagen showed us the E-Up at the 2009 Frankfurt IAA. During the show Martin Winterkorn said “We will launch a zero emissions Up! on the market in 2013″.

The 64th IAA will take place on September 15-25th and Volkswagen has released its first teaser titled “Something small is coming Up!”. The first is directed towards the small moments that make us happy. Could we see the first production models this year?

“Isn’t it the small moments that make us happy? That can make an ordinary day great? That make us feel like we’re floating? In September 2011, the time has come. The Up! is on its way.”
