At the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show will debut officially the first European version of the Chevrolet Malibu, which is preparing to land it in the Old Continent.
The Malibu-based cousin, the Opel Insignia, which shares much of the mechanics course. It is 4859 mm long and will be available with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 165 bhp or a 2.4 turbodiesel with 170 hp. The change will be available in both manual and automatic.
The Chevrolet Malibu is an extremely important model for the home in Europe, as confirmed by the president of Chevrolet Europe, Wayne Brannon. According to Brannon the Malibu will be very competitive in the Old Continent.
Aesthetically, the Malibu Classic European resurface the front grille of the brand split into two parts, xenon HID or high intensity, the big brand name front and rear, dual LED rear lights that reflect those of the Camaro. The alloy wheels will be 17 or 18 inches.
For the body you can choose from nine colors, while the interior will be available four different variants.
Chevrolet says the Malibu will offer a great driving experience as well as an excellent handling. The wheelbase of the car is 2737 mm, 1577 mm wide roadway. The Chevrolet Malibu will arrive in Europe during 2012.
