Fatal Pawtucket Motorcycle Crash

Posted: 20 Jul 2011 10:00 PM PDT

Hi there riders. I know I bring you guys a lot of disturbing motorcycle crashes, but I feel that it's important to always know exactly what you are getting into when continuing your adventures with the beast; especially if you tend to have impulsive behaviors. The beast is friendly, very enticing, and if you let its coolness get to your head, you could literally lose it! This fatal crash happened in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and it involved 37 year old Jamie Marin being seen swerving across several lanes on his 2007 Harley Davidson. In the process of swerving, he struck a barrier was thrown from his motorcycle, landing face down at the bottom of an embankment. He was not wearing a helmet. Check out the video.

These videos are not meant to scare us, but they are here to teach us what NOT to do when riding. It's a way to humble us and show us how blessed we are to be able to live another day to experience the great joys of being on the road. Too often we hear about somebody getting hit or hitting their bikes up against something very hard and to be honest, it hurts! To have the ability to ride compares to nothing else and is a very precious thing. The respect for riding should be treated as such and not taken lightly. Of course it's cool to know how to ride, but if you really think about it, it takes great mental and physical abilities to be able to control something that can pretty much take your life with even the slightest bad thought. So be careful out there folks, and ride to actually enjoy what you do so you can have a chance to do it again another day. Okay y'all, this is Studdly signing off.
