Citroen has decided that it will debut the new Citroen C4 Picasso during 2012, most likely at the Paris Motor Show, selling the car by the end of that year. Derived from the new C4, the minivan will not exceed the current size, which are 4.5 meters long, but offers a longer wheelbase for improved interior space, keeping the 5 available seats.
No news however has been given on the Grand Picasso 7-seater version. According to the rumors that have come from the foreign press, the design took inspiration from the DS models, more sporty than the Picasso, is currently on the market and a line of rear area closer to the DS5.
The engines will be those of the C4, with the 1.6 petrol engines built by PSA in collaboration with BMW and the range of 1.6 and 2 liter diesel engines, with the E-HDI with start-stop generation.
