Erik Buell Racing 1125R Typhon Debut in Aragon Posted: 13 Apr 2011 10:00 PM PDT |
Hi guys, the Erik Buell Racing 1125R Typhon made its track debut at Motorland Aragon in Spain two Saturdays ago. The Typhon is a Streetfighter concept developed by Pegasus Racing and derived from the Erik Buell Racing EBR 1125R, featuring an 1126cc V-twin, producing 140bhp at the rear wheel.
Pegasus Racing Team Manager Jens Krüper revealed that the Typhon will be available in a conversion kit for EBR 1125R models. "The plan at the moment is to have the first kits available at the end of May," he said.
However, rumors have been ongoing that Pegasus has been developing a Typhon kit for the Erik Buell Racing EBR 1190RR, which boasts 180bhp at the rear wheel from its 1190cc V-twin.
When asked about the possibility of an 1190RR Typhon going into production, Krüper had no comment. Mums the word I guess.
